The new advanced SEO report by Simplisio SEO
The new advanced SEO report from Simplisio SEO has the following components:
Here you can see the performance over the last 30 days in terms of: clicks, impressions, CTR, number of keywords (queries), number of landing pages, average ranking position on Google:
You can change the date of this report by using the date selector from the top right.
Below we will see the performance by keyword and by landing page.
We can click on any page or keyword to filter. For example if we click on a page OR keyword we will see the keywords corresponding to that page, and the entire page report will display only the data corresponding to that page OR keyword.
In the previous image, we also have some statistics about the device usage distribution of the site visitors and the top countries they are from.
Below we will see the evolution of the ranking growth by keywords (top 3, top 10, top 20):
In the "Evolution" section there will be 3 separate pages:
1. Evolution overview
Here we can look individually at the evolution of each metric over the last 16 months:
We also have a simpler reporting month by month below:
2. Evolution - queries (position)
On this page we have the performance evolution reported on 3 different periods: last month, last quarter and last year.
Below we see the performance of each month's top ranking by keyword.
3. Evolution queries (types)
Here we see the evolution of performance based on the keyword's length: short, medium or long.
Here they can also be filtered according to a specific length and we will see the exact words and their performance.
This page can be used for analysis. Each page has the option to be filtered by keyword and by page at the top of the report, but this report is specifically designed for analysis:
Similar to the keyword analysis report, but this one is dedicated to analyzing pages:
In this report we see the evolution of performance over time:
At the same time, we can see the days of the week with the most clicks or impressions:
Here we have a much better way of seeing the top countries from where the site is visited. We can filter the report by keywords or specific pages.
This is the best automated keyword cannibalization monitoring solution I have seen on the market. The solution in our report is based on real data from Google, whereas the (paid) SEO apps that offer this solution do not monitor the data in real time, and can have time discrepancies as well as unidentified words/pages.
However, it is absolutely normal in some cases to have multiple pages of a site rank for a specific keyword, especially when the site has a higher SEO authority.
On the other hand, there may be opportunities for improvement that we can analyze and implement.
Bugs
1/ The color of the average position arrow might not be reported correctly in some cases. For example, if the ‘average position’ is decreasing, it is a good sign because the site pages will appear higher and the color should be green.
